Valentines Heart Decorations for Home
The holidays are over, and the house feels really empty. Which I actually love… but January is just not my month. It’s dark, it’s cold, and it somehow feels like it lasts forever. Spring feels so far away, so this year I’m trying something different to help get through this weird in-between season.
I’m warming things up with a little Valentines day decorations. Nothing crazy—because let’s be honest, we’re still in renovation mode over here—but just a few heart decorations and some pops of color around the house. I’m going for subtle, fun, and just enough to make things feel happier.

These simple Valentines Day decorations for home have been such a mood boost already. It’s hard not to feel a little more cheerful when you see them. If you’re looking for easy Valentine’s Day ideas, here are a few ways I’m saying Happy Valentine’s Day without going overboard.

Valentines Dinner Table Decor
For the dinner table, I switched out my regular candlesticks for these super adorable heart ones. A very simple, but such a cute Valentine’s touch!

Valentines Day Living Room Decor
In my living room, I have this chair that’s perfect for adding seasonal decor. You see it right when you walk in—and pretty much from every angle in the main living area—so there’s a lot of bang for your buck when it comes to keeping things seasonal in this spot.
I typically swap out the throw for something that matches the season, and for Valentine’s Day, I found this heart throw with a two-tone design, so one side is more muted than the other.

I also find that a lumbar-style pillow looks best on this chair, so when I stumbled upon this pillow cover, it was an instant add to cart—literally perfect and only $11. I love the neutral hearts because they still feel cozy and timeless, not loud or overly seasonal.

Valentines Kitchen Decor
For the kitchen, I found this adorable heart garland and swapped out the Christmas greenery around the window, hanging it in its place. The hooks were already there, so what a perfect way to reuse them. The gold heart garland is from Target—it’s metal, but I love the look paired with these patterned ones from Amazon. And if you noticed the gingham… there may be a new obsession happening over here lately.
Hand towels are another easy holiday decor go-to in my house, so I’m linking a few of my favorites here. I have this pack from Kohl’s and really love the elevated heart but monotone coloring. They’re on the thinner side, which I also like because they actually dry—unlike some of those decorative towels that don’t do a thing.
Happy Valentines Day Decorations Inspo
I’ve rounded up some of my favorite Valentine’s Day decor—mostly neutral, subtle touches to add around your home, but just enough to feel festive and not so bleh this time of year!
